Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Service

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is a legal requirement in order to comply with numerous regulations, including the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

The purpose for a Portable Appliance Test (PAT) is to ensure the electrics are in a safe condition.

We test a range of portable appliances for domestic, commercial and industrial use, including computer equipment, kettles, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, cookers and many more. A certificate is issued as proof the appliance has been tested.

All inspections are performed by our professional qualified electricians who are able to visit your premises to carry out the inspection. We also offer a Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) service at any of our three outlets, 471 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, 12 Whingate, Leeds and 160 Roundhay Road, Leeds. Customers are able to bring their appliances to any of our outlets and a Portable Appliance Test (PAT) will be carried out while you wait, by appointment.
